Contact
The form is usually the easier route. A few lines about who needs help and what is piling up is enough to start, and the reply comes within one business day. If something is urgent today, a shut-off notice or a scam in progress, call: a person answers on weekdays.

Working with families in every US state, remotely. Calls may be recorded — see the disclosure.
What happens after you write
Your request is passed to the bookkeeping firm the same day. Someone on their team reads it and replies within one business day, usually to arrange a short call. Your parent can be on that call or not, as you prefer, though it often goes better when they are. The call covers what the bills are, how many accounts, who has authority to approve payments, whether there is a caregiver on payroll and what is overdue. A written proposal follows. Your details go to one firm and nowhere else.
What to have to hand
None of this is required for the first call, but it makes it shorter.
- Roughly how many regular bills your parent has, and which banks they use
- Whether a power of attorney exists and who the agent is
- Whether anyone is employed privately to help at home
- Where your parent lives and where you live
- Anything urgent: a shut-off notice, a collections letter, a suspected scam
What not to send
Please do not put account numbers, Social Security numbers or passwords in the form. Those are only ever needed after you have decided to go ahead, and then they go to the bookkeeping firm through a secure portal.
Calls are recorded
You will hear a short announcement before a call connects. It is the recording-consent notice, and it plays on every call whichever state you are calling from. Recordings exist so that a conversation about a parent’s money is not misremembered later, and for nothing else. If you would rather not be recorded, use the form.

Common questions
Can I ask on my parent’s behalf without telling them yet?
Yes, for a first conversation. Nothing can be set up without your parent’s agreement or the authority of their agent, so it is worth involving them soon.
Will someone call me straight away?
Within one business day, by email or phone as you prefer. If something is urgent today, call instead of writing.
